The multi-network strategy of the firm has been expanded to the setting up of its information technology department, specialized in advisory services for its corporate clientele in relation to information technology and tele-communications.
This line of practice performs the functions of providing advice on regulatory requirements and the governing laws on information technology and software licensing including providing escrow/custodial services of source code applications.
Our IT team is supervised by our IT Consultant and our partners, Ravi G. and Aida Hassan. Our IT Practice Group regularly advices client on a variety of issues relating to information technology, including verification, validation, enforceability of terms and conditions, electronic product distribution, support, merchant agreements, privacy, data collection and usage issues.
We also work closely with business lines in advising them on the implementation of the Escrow Solution to tailor the solutions exclusively according to their needs. We place both legal and technical know-how in house to provide effective escrow services to our clients. This ensures that if the supplier of the technology fails, the material can be accessed and released to our clients being the end users quickly and legally, leaving them free to carry on the application of their system without any disruption.
Our operational level of legal risk management is responsible in drafting of specific agreements right down to the review of the specific clauses in legal agreements both online and in physical form which includes drafting terms and conditions of security policies to minimize if not to avoid the potential legal risk liabilities of our clients’ organizations. |
